For our Client, an international humanitarian organization , we are looking for the position of: Supply Chain Coordinator.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Facilitate filing of purchase requests, purchase orders, bid analysis, other procurement related documents (both hard copies and e-copies) to comply with documentation requirements for SCI and donor compliance.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all supply chain & procurement activities, supplier database and procurement tracker.
  • Oversee the preparation of purchase orders based on best quality and best cost of supplier.
  • Assist with the sourcing and establishing of FWA’s, sourcing pipelines. 
  • Implementing all procurement transactions and activities according to SC rules and regulations and ensure all staff engaging in procurement activities understands and applies the rules and regulations surrounding these.
  • Support and coach staff to conduct regular market survey of goods, and services and also to establish supplier’s database, and also establish framework agreements for commonly procured items in the region.
  • Responsible for assessing and advising on supply chain needs for new and existing projects in collaboration with all program and project team.
  • Ensure all warehousing in the area of responsibility is managed according to SCI’s Stock Management and Warehousing Policy, Warehousing and Stock Management Manual, and relevant donor rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:   Essential:  
  • University Degree in a related field.
  • Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills.
  • Team-working skills.
  • Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
  • Attention to detail and excellent numeracy.
  • Good experience in Warehousing, vehicle management, assets and administration.
  • Good written and spoken English and Polish as required.
  • Ability to keep clear and concise records.
  • Commitment to SCI child safeguarding policies, equal opportunity and gender policies.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and with the aims and objectives of SCI Yemen
  Desirable:  
  • Previous work experience, ideally with non-governmental organizations would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Logistics Management.
  • Logistics training or qualification an added advantage.
  • Experience of supervision of staffs and good team work (integration).
