Program Overview:

Refonte Learning is offering a System Administration training program designed for individuals looking to develop expertise in managing and maintaining IT infrastructures. This internship will provide hands-on experience in system configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security management within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and server environments (Linux, Windows, etc.).
• Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of internal and external infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Implement security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption techniques to protect systems and data.
• Assist in managing and configuring cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) and virtualization technologies.
• Perform routine backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for internal use.
• Collaborate with the IT team to resolve incidents and improve system efficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest system administration trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with system administration concepts (networking, storage, server management).
• Basic experience with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or macOS.
• Understanding of system security practices, firewalls, and data protection techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization (VMware, Docker, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
