You will be responsible for working with the Director of Engineering, the development team and the support team to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure enhancements across the company. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the development process from start to finish with proactive and thoughtful project planning fundamentals
- Ensure accurate scope and requirements, estimates and test plans are identified for every project
- Strive towards creating predictable project timelines and outcomes while contributing to a department roadmap
- Manage a dynamic landscape of changing priorities and demands on the development team to maximize overall benefit to the company
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Manage multiple projects in parallel
- Strive to improve the Application Development SOP through retrospective and iterative process improvements
Key Competencies
- Education in project management, computer science, business, or a related field
- Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong working knowledge of Agile software development principles
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Experience with B2B retail involving EDI transactions is a plus
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Requirements
- We are a US based global company, so you must be able to collaborate with your team from 1:00 am - 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time
- You must be fluent in English (both verbal and written)
- You must have at least 5 years of experience in Project Management or a related field
- You must have consistent minimum internet speeds of 8Mbps and a modern computer that meets the below specs:
- Multicore Processor ex: Intel i3,i5,i7, or higher; AMD Ryzen, Athlon, FX or higher
- 8GB of Memory or higher
- Minimum 128GB Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Storage
- Licensed 64 bit Windows 10 or Mac 10.14 (Mojave or Latest)
- Ability to support a dual monitor set up
Compensation & Benefits
- $50,000 - $60,000 USD Annually
- 10 Days Paid Vacation per year* (1 additional Vacation day for each year you work with the company, up to 5)
